[-dʒimiɲ'ɲaːno], eigentlich Giacomo da San Gimignano ['dʒa-], italienischer Dichter, * um 1270, ✝ vor 1332; verfasste zwischen 1309 und 1317 zum Preis des Rittertums drei kulturhistorisch interessante Sonettenkränze auf die Wochentage, die Monate und den Adel, in denen er das Leben der Vornehmen der Zeit sowie den höfischen Lebensstil schilderte.
